FamilyAssistant is a personal AI assistant built with Hermes Agent for use by its operator and invited household members. It is not offered as a public or commercial service. This public website provides information about the assistant; visiting it does not grant access to the assistant or any connected account.
With the relevant account owner’s authorization, FamilyAssistant can read, send, and delete Gmail messages and view, create, and delete Google Calendar events. OpenAI provides AI processing. Available features depend on the permissions granted and the connected services.
Use the assistant only with accounts you own or are authorized to manage. Each account owner must authorize the Google connection. Permission to use FamilyAssistant does not grant permission to access another person’s information without their consent.
You are responsible for your instructions and for using the assistant lawfully. Do not use it for spam, fraud, harassment, unauthorized access, or other misuse. Protect your account credentials and do not disclose passwords or authorization tokens through this website.
AI can misunderstand requests or produce inaccurate results. Check important information, message recipients, email contents, event details, and time zones before relying on them. Sending messages or deleting messages and events can have consequences that may be difficult or impossible to reverse. Keep independent copies of important information. These terms do not promise that the assistant will ask for confirmation before every action.
Read the FamilyAssistant Privacy Policy for information about data access, AI processing, retention, and privacy requests. Google and OpenAI services are also governed by their applicable terms and policies. FamilyAssistant is an independent household project and is not an official Google or OpenAI product.
The assistant is provided on an as-available basis for personal convenience. No guarantee is made of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or accurate AI output. It may change, pause, or stop operating, including when a connected provider changes its service. Do not rely on it as your only record of important messages or appointments. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
You may stop using the assistant at any time and revoke its Google access through your Google Account connections settings. Revoking access does not undo actions already completed or automatically delete information held by service providers. The operator may suspend access to protect connected accounts or discontinue this private project.
